The game is fun and hard at the same time and it is amazing how much you can do with such simple mechanics. I like how you can't control your jump after you jump, so it is like real life and unique. One question I have is what you do after level 8, because after that, you have a skull which is not a level. Do I need more stars to move on or something like that? Also, it would be nice if the buttons needed to be held down and the buttons you only need to tap once are different colors
The version I have up here is just a demo for the game and so it only features a few levels. The skull is a gauntlet - a very challenging level needed to unlock the next stage.
I'm working on adding more levels and achievements before the final release!
LOVE the update. The jump feels amazing and love the variability of the jump height based on when you time your jump.
Great levels each with unique challenges and requiring early mastery of the double jump, challenging but fair.
Couple things i noticed that i found to be repeatable, if you execute the second jump when you are really close to the ground you cannot jump again and have to restart the level.
When you die while attached to a cube you re spawn and the cube goes back to its resting position but you are still tethered, not really a problem cause you can just untether but figured it was worth mentioning.
1X1 gaps are really difficult to enter, not game breaking but def a challenge
When falling off a platform before using any jumps you can jump twice in the air instead of just once (not sure if intended or not)
This game is enjoyable, the art style is fun to look at, the mechanics are interesting yet challenging and the game itself is rather self explanatory. if i had any one thing that would improve the quality of the game it would be the double jump. More often than not the double jump doesn't actually happen if you time it to late or too early. Being able to double jump whenever you want in the jump ark will make the game feel more fluid, as well as open up many different options for platforming.
Additionally one mechanic I noticed was being able to drop off of a platform and use your second jump immediately making clearing low hanging spikes really fun

Can not wait to see the next update. I am excited
Also if you restart using the menu sometimes it locks the game in the slow mo until you reopen that menu
I also noticed those bugs after release. I am fixing the jump and the tethering. A new update should be out within the week!
